Volunteers are always needed for event planning and executing committees. There are two major fund raising events, the Annual Swansation Tea* in March, and the Holiday Jam Session** in November.
*Swansation Tea is an elegant affair for ladies and gentlemen with rounded entertainment (song, dance, instrumentals, fashion show, hat contest, table judging, and more)
**Holiday Jam Session is a dance following the Thanksgiving celebrations to kick off the holiday season. (DJ plays music all night, cash bar, food, and prizes)
Christmas in July – Kiwanis is supported as a local summer charity and Women in Distress, another local charity, is selected whre a Jamaican family is adopted at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Help is always needed to fulfill our commitment to adopted local charities.

1. To increase paid membership and participation for funding projects/needs at St. Hugh’s High School.
2. To partner with the St. Hugh’s High School Principal for identifying the immediate economic and personal needs of the student population as identified in the schools strategic plan.
3. To provide scholarships to needy St. Hugh’s High school sisters.
